About Arlington TV
Arlington TV (formerly AVN – Arlington Virginia Network) is the visual communications channel for the Arlington Virginia County Government. Since 1981, our mission has been to produce informative, educational and entertaining programs about Arlington County services, programs and people to a target audience of Arlington residents, businesses and visitors.
We aim to communicate the operation and decision making process of Arlington County Government and disseminate information about our different departments.
We also aim to reflect the diversity and values that exist within the community through story telling. The programs we produce are aimed at people of all ages, race, ethnicity, gender, and sexual orientation.
Look for us on Arlington’s cable channels: Comcast Channels 74 and 25, and Verizon Channels 39 & 40, as well as the on the Web as a live webcast.
Arlington TV provides live, gavel-to-gavel coverage of all County Board meetings.
